My Life has been... interesting

Life as a High School Student

Being a high school student at MTCHS while trying to become a software developer means balancing two worlds at once. On one side, there are classes, assignments, deadlines, and everything that comes with student life. On the other, there’s coding—late nights debugging programs, learning new programming languages, and trying to turn ideas into something real on a screen. Some days it feels overwhelming, especially when a project refuses to work, but every small success makes the effort worth it.

What makes the journey exciting is that every challenge teaches something new. Whether it’s building a simple game, designing a website, or figuring out why one missing semicolon broke everything, each mistake becomes part of the learning process. At MTCHS, being surrounded by technology and other students with similar goals makes it easier to stay motivated. The path to becoming a software developer isn’t always easy, but starting in high school gives me the chance to build skills, confidence, and experience before stepping into the real tech world.
